Reynolds Street - At the Base of Lincoln Park. Next to Town Houses.
McClellan Cir - from Sherman Blvd at Lincoln Park. Next to Town Houses that border Apartments.
The videos show that any Town Home / Apartment complex that has limited parking for residents and NO additional parking lot ALSO generally has full street parking outside of typical 9am-5pm business hours!
CHISPA Housing is not open yet and the street parking is already full. Where will they overflow to? The Town Center streets?
ArtSpace parking will also bring more potential parked vehicles to the Town Center.
These same cars will be competing with restaurant dinner patrons for parking spots. Unless dinner is NOT a target meal for the Town Center restaurants.
Century's proposed Town Center plan effectively concentrates the highest density living at the Town Center, and then severely limits their parking, in hopes that the people living there will not need cars…
Yet this plan goes one step further and reduces the overall Town Center size. This limits the Town Center’s ability for growth while also failing to provide necessary amenities such that these people can actually live at the Town Center without cars. People are going to need to have cars so they can leave EG to go to work or get groceries!
